| November 26, 2012 at 8:57 am</a>Hello,As a fan of your work, I am excited to have heard you will be the wrtier for Fearless Defenders, I have collected all the Defenders comics since the early 70s.Its great to see Mysti Knight getting a shot in Prime Time, and Valkyrie too!Just wanted to throw out an idea. Monica Rambeau. A Black female, very powerful, and so under-utilized by Marvel. I am married to a Black woman, with a 2nd daughter on the way. So I always have my eyes out for Black women in comics. Were Fearless Defenders not only all female, but with 2 Black-female characters, that would definitely be something that would catch the attentions of my wife n daughters as well. I don't want to be political (I am just a dad with a comic loving Black daughter/wife, and another daughter on the way), and its so hard to find headlining Black females in comics. Its still an overwhelmingly white/male genre. And, Monica Rambeau is a darn awesome character, by no means would she be considered a quota-filler. |
